PSCBE is a non-profit professional organization for Filipino biomedical engineers. It provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development in the field of biomedical engineering.

To be a globally-recognized and locally-relevant organization of biomedical engineers in the Philippines.
Mission
Improve health care delivery in the Philippines through the development and implementation of appropriate biomedical engineering solutions.
Promote the biomedical engineering profession in the Philippines.

Objectives
Achieve professional recognition and become the recognized voice of biomedical engineering in the Philippines.

Accreditation of the PSCBE by the International Federation of Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) as the recognized national biomedical engineering organization in the Philippines.
- 2.
Attainment of a minimum of 50 active members within the first year of operation.
- 3.
Conduct at least one biomedical engineering workshop/seminar per month for the benefit of members and the general public.
- 4.
Publication of peer-reviewed articles in the PSCBE Journal of Biomedical Engineering.
- 5.
Participation in international biomedical engineering conferences and events.
- 6.
Collaboration with other professional organizations and institutions in the Philippines and abroad.
- 7.
Promotion of biomedical engineering education and research in the Philippines.

IFMBE Accreditation
International Federation of Medical and Biological Engineering
The PSCBE is working towards accreditation by the IFMBE, the international umbrella organization for biomedical engineering societies worldwide.
IFMBE accreditation will provide international recognition and legitimacy to the PSCBE as the national biomedical engineering organization in the Philippines.
This recognition will facilitate collaboration with other national and international biomedical engineering organizations and provide access to global resources and opportunities.
